As AI transforms product marketing, sales enablement and competitive intelligence (among everything else), there's new tools and technologies popping up constantly. It's difficult to keep up with what AI tools product marketers should invest in for their go-to-market efforts.
During a recent webinar event GTM in the AI Era: How New Tools and Agents are Changing the Game, we sat down with Claire Vo, Chief Product Officer at LanchDarkly and Eilon Reshef, Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer at Gong to learn the many ways companies are using AI to optimize workflows, reduce manual effort, and save time. Below are several AI tools that product marketers can explore to improve go-to-market.
π§ AI Research & Reasoning Tools
These help marketers and PMMs summarize, explore, analyze, and make sense of data.
- ChatGPT (OpenAI) β General-purpose reasoning and writing tool for summarization, ideation, research, and content creation. ChatGPT is quickly becoming a product marketer's instant intern.
- Claude (Anthropic) β An alternative LLM used for writing, summarizing, and more nuanced or longer-form responses. Claude can help with vision analysis, code generation, and multilingual processes.
- Perplexity AI β Real-time research assistant that pulls in cited sources. Great for deep dives and high-trust research.
- NotebookLM (Google) β Research summarization tool that turns dense documents into digestible insights. One interesting use case for NotebookLM is taking large dense documents and turning them into podcasts.
- OpenAI Scheduled Tasks β Lets you automate recurring tasks inside ChatGPT, like sending daily industry news to your inbox. E.g., try scheduling tasks to run at a later time.
βοΈ Writing & Content Generation
AI tools for generating written content, from strategy docs to scripts and campaign assets.
- ChatPRD β AI copilot for product managers that generates product specs and requirements (built by Claire Vo). ChatPRD is like your AI product co-pilot.
- Devin (Cognition Labs) β AI software engineer that takes specs and writes production-ready code.

π¨ Design, Video & Audio Creation
Used for presentations, launches, creative briefs, and async communication.
- DALLΒ·E (OpenAI) β Image generation tool for creating illustrations, concept visuals, or social media graphics. Built on ChatGPT, you can simply describe/prompt an image β done and done.
- Pixelcut β AI image editing tool for fast resizing, cropping, or enhancing assets.
- HeyGen β Video generation platform. Claire uses it for short-form content.
- ElevenLabs β High-fidelity AI voice tool. Used by Claire to mock up launch presentations and podcasts without needing a live team.
- Suno β AI music generator used to create original music for product launches.
- V0.dev β Helps streamline the process of building user interfaces by leveraging AI to translate text descriptions or Figma style designs.
π Sales & Go-to-Market Tools
These tools are used to extract insights from calls, improve messaging, or automate sales/customer interactions.
- Gong β Conversation intelligence platform. Used to analyze sales calls; Crayon has native integrations to extract competitor mentions and trends.
- Intercom Fin β AI chatbot that resolves support queries autonomously (mentioned as a leading AI use case in customer service).
- Crayon + Gong Integration β Uses AI to surface relevant competitive content in the flow of work (e.g. surfacing Crayon battlecards based on Gong call mentions).
π° Newsletters & Staying Updated
Not tools per se, but essential for staying sharp and tracking industry changes.
- TLDR.ai β Daily tech and AI newsletter. Summarizes top stories with links.
- AlphaSignal β Curated updates on new AI tools, research, and product launches.
- ChatGPT Scheduled Digest β DIY approach to getting AI-generated news briefings via ChatGPT's scheduled tasks.
Not a tool or newsletter but a tip β get an AI accountability buddy β during the webinar session, Claire talked about the benefits of pairing up with someone who pushes you to test different tools weekly.
